I'm not a member yet but IL state rifle association has a range on Warner bridge road in kankakee county. There is also Bonfield muzzleloading club that shots there. I have a card for bonfield muzzleloaders contact if you're interested.

I'm a member and it is a terrific range, it goes out to 300 yards. They have a 100-yard, 100-meter, 200 yd,300 yd, skeet bow and many 25yd pistol ranges. I first got turned on to black powder by watching the guys shoot muskets and thought it was so cool, might have been some Bonfield guys.
