Hello everyone! I've had a fascination with guns since I was very young. The first day that I was allowed to shoot a "real gun", a little over 50 years ago, included a 45 cal Spanish made "Kentucky Rifle" that my daddy bought because of my fascination with Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett. It was only about 3 years later that I was allowed to buy a kit to build a "companion pistol" for the longrifle. My mama didn't care for guns, but didn't think it was too dangerous if I was able to build it. Granted it was only a single shot muzzleloader, but I was the only 13yo kid I knew with his own 45 cal pistol! While I've never met a quality gun I didn't like, muzzleloaders, especially flintlocks, have and always will be among my favorites. John
