Welcome neighbor!Thank you for approving my application to this fascinating and informative site.
I had my first experience with black powder last weekend when I took my new Pietta replica Remington 1858 to the range. I was completely hooked after the first cylinder cleared, so yesterday a new Pedersoli Tryon Target rifle was added to my armoury. Tomorrow is going to be interesting and I’ve no doubt that a flintlock is next on the list. What is baffling is that I’ve been shooting for nearly sixty years and only discovered the fun of black powder in my seventieth year!
