If you like shooting black powder revolvers, check out the North-South Skirmish Association! We shoot them in competition! We have lots of people and teams from Tennessee in our region.

All of our skirmishes but one are held at Brierfield Ironworks State Park, which is just south of Birmingham, Alabama. Here is the skirmish schedule for the rest of the year. The first skirmish of the year is just one month away!
February 21-23 - 4th LA - Brierfield, Alabama
March 28-30 - 20th GA & Palmetto Guard - Brierfield, Alabama
April 25-27 - 14th MS - Brierfield, Alabama
May 14-18 - Spring Nationals - Winchester VA
June 27-29 - 4th TN - Brierfield, Alabama
July 19 - Camp of Instruction Recruit Skirmish - Brierfield, Alabama
August 22-24 - 3rd GA & 44th GA- Brierfield, Alabama
October 1-5 - Fall Nationals - Winchester VA
November 7-9 - Forrest Escort - Eva, Tennessee
July 19th we will be hosting a Camp of Instruction Recruit Skirmish. This is a free one-day event where we will be teaching basic firearm safety, and how to load, shoot, and clean muzzleloading rifles.
