Glad to be here. I’m from the Midwest. Interested in learning to build percussion lock Fowlers/ double barrel percussion lock shotguns. I want to be able to compete with modern shotguns on patterning and velocity. I would also like to make some very large gauge muzzle loading shotguns for the novelty. I will be shooting clays and hunting birds with them.

Thanks everybody! Anyone ever built their own percussion lock shotguns from scratch?

Howdy from North Texas and welcome to the forum.
This area is usually reserved for introductions and hellos. Feel free to post your questions on the smoothbore section. Plenty of scattergun shooters over there.
