 After having placed the order with the Gun Works in Early December ---I received my English Flint Pistol in .40 cal today. The barrel is signed by D. Freeman ( I guess he was the builder ) , Well it sure is a beauty, pretty piece of wood for the stock and the finish is outstanding. The inletting and finishing is the best I have seen and certainly much better than a couple of my ( wait for 12 mos. ) $1100 + TVM rifles were inletted. It's all iron furniture and it looks like an L&R lock. I just finished adjusting the flint and she's a sparker. Too bad it arrived at 1:00PM and I had a doctor's appt.---or I have been cleaning it. Will publish some pix. :hatsoff:

Can't wait to see the pics. Knowing you(sorta') If you're happy, it's gotta' be a beauty!
