too slow to edit previous post :idunno: I have transferred BP from steel cans to plastic to avoid the rusty can issue. I DID have some Elephant BP (remember them?) cans rust through from the inside out.

IIRC, the BATFE limit for an individual is 50#. 100# is what I recall being the limit in a passenger vehicle.

"House of Cans" Who knew? The can pictured sure looks to be the same shape as the old Goex can.

Jim,

When the new plastic bottles arrive, I just simply pour them into the old GOEX metal cans and my world is back to center.

Now...about that waxing...just simple auto wax, just like you we're polishing your car?

Tnx!

 That's it.

I made pasted labels for plain white shot shell boxes in the past. It is fun to do the artwork on the computer. I used modified images of original boxes. I load a bunch of heavi shot every several years and then pack the shells in nice factory looking boxes.

One could do the same with these cans. I use an old version of MS paint to modify scans of originals for my shot shell boxes. Maybe make original looking labels of old famous powder houses. Stick them on using spray adhesive. Might be fun to make knowledgeable shooters to a double take.

Plastic cans may be superior to tin, But to me, it just is not traditional enough.
