Hi folks. Glad I found this forum. I have a relatively simple question I hope someone can help me with. I am considering buying a Lyman Trade Rifle because I like its size, looks, and reputation as a quality gun at an affordable price. I have heard that a 1:60 twist is best for shooting roundball, which I want to shoot, but this rifle has a 1:48 twist. The Lyman Great Plains Rifle has the slower twist for roundball, but I'd prefer to buy the Trade Rifle if it will also shoot roundball accurately. My question is: how well can I expect to do shooting roundball with a 1:48 twist? Thanks for any help.
