List,
Just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I am David from Alabama. I started shooting smoothbores back in the late 80's. The local club called "The White Water Longhunters" were and still are really into shooting flint smoothbores! My first gun was an Early English made by Northstar......It is hard to belive I only paid $475 in the white for that gun...since then.. went to a Caywood "type D"....and sold it to buy my current two flint guns....an English Type G(46 inch barrel) built by the Late Dave Wagner and I have a French Fine fusil(48 inch barrel) produced by R.E Davis. Smoothbore are the only muzzleloaders I own. I hunt with them and use them in reenacting. When I discovered this list I was really excited and just had to join. I have enjoyed reading your post and look forward to more topics in the future.
Take care and have a great day!
