New (to me) Canteen

Here is a really neat primitive style canteen. All hand-made wood body, leather covered. Someone put a lot of work into this. Couldn't pass it up at $25.00.

Wood? That looks like the gourd ones to me.

YES !!! Looking at it again, I believe you're right. Started with a gourd. My error. Whoever made it knew what they were doing. Tested it over night. Holds water just fine. Thanks for the correction.
