New to Muzzleloading

Here is a picture of my stuff right now. I know it isn't all completely historically accurate. I made everything except the rifle, hat and shirt.

Looks like you have ben working at it, what do you plan to do?

I would like to go to a some Rendezvous this year, but first I need to get some more accurate clothing items and get more used to shooting my rifle. I shot about 100 rounds through it last fall after I got it, but still need more practice. Don't know how many old fashioned Rendezvous there are still. I don't think there are many going on up in Canada still. So I would like to find out where and when some are taking place.

I like the look. What era are you trying to emulate? I've got to say, the clothes look great, but I think it's your beard that really pulls the look together. Wish I could grow some fine whiskers like those!

What's that sticking out of your sash on your left side - a knife or a butt of a pistol? I didn't notice that before......
