LOL. You know bout nuke school? It was tough yes. My job in the service was way hard with super long hours and many months away from home. I'm proud of it, proud I served, proud of the challenges I conquered, proud of the sacrifices I made, and because of all of that, I'm doing well today.

Know of it. Is the school still in Orlando? Was around plenty of you guys for a time. Could always spot you fellas a night, hence my first comment. A friend's son went two years ago but flunked himself out, too immature. Now he's living the high life aboard a Gator Freighter!

Carriers, cruisers or subs? Which?

I killed a medium size Doe with a cap and ball rev. It was prob 20 years ago it was a .44. I used 27 grains of 3f and a ball. The range was 12 to 15 yards. It was a good lung shot and the Deer went about 100 yards. I would not do it again everything was perfect and it was still iffy on the outcome. But I would and prob will use a single shot type pistol and maxi type projectile with a good charge of powder for Whitetail in the future. Good angle and close range I think it would be fine. I Bow hunt so getting close is nothing new. Larry Wv
