Thank you. Good reading. I have a Santa Fe Hawken that shows a date code of AT (1985). I don't know if the Log Cabin Shop did it to all the Hawkens they sold, but mine has a brass plate inlaid on the top flat just ahead of the breech. .53 caliber and with 50 grains of 2f behind a .526 ball and .010 patch as accurate as all get at 100 yards.
