I'm getting a used T/C Hawken in a couple weeks and have a bunch of questions, but my first one is about ramrods. I'd like to get a delrin ramrod, but everywhere I go online they are out of stock. Anyone know where I can find one?

I have have all after market synthetic ramrods for my Tc's no more risk of breakage

Dixie Gun Works, has fiberglass, and other rods, but I don't know what's in stock.

Get an alum. shotgun cleaning rod & a muzzle protector & use it as a ramrod, it will never break. Also buy a jag for what ever cal you are shooing & concave the end a little & screw it on the rod.

.

The T/C Derlin rr's are nice, but I had to substitute when I couldn't find them anymore, either.

I bought 36" long fiberglas curb markers (sold in snow country HomeCheapo's, etc), which I cut to length before pinning & epoxying RR ends on each end.

You can see an orange one, here on my .36 U/H:

The Possible Shop has them and I am sure others do as well. By the way get a good straight grained hickory rod to for loading at the bench. The Delron rods flex a bunch! Geo. T.

TC use to offer a nice replacement rod that I think is a coated fiberglass rod. I have several of them on some of my rifles. I could really use a 32 inch one and am still trying to figure out if TC ever offered one?? I could also use another 28 incher if anyone has an extra, PM me.

ebay has all the synthetic ramrods a man could ever need as well. Bought one for the GPR for $19 with free shipping and came with a cleaning jac and ball puller as well.

I know that, but I like the ones made by TC better.
