Whats up with New York Laws for muzzle loaders? I was at a gun auction in Pa. And the auction house said anyone from New York State. can not buy a muzzle loader. There's a gun show in New York This week end and i was going to take a loader to sell,I dont know if I can now.?

I think its a case of not wanting to deal with new yorks stupid laws as a whole. You can choose not to sell to anyone.

I live in NY. New York City requires registration of all firearms, including antiques and replicas. If they live outside of NYC, it all good.

It's their responsibility to register. A FFL transfer is not needed far as I know.

NYC has to register everything they own.

There is no required licensing and/or registration of blackpowder in New York.

Except for pistol. If you have the means to fire the pistol (ie powder,cap,bullet) then you need a pistol liesince.

"Constructive Possession" is the law of the land in NY State. So if you have the ability to make a Cap & Ball hand gun fire (with powder, ball & caps under your control), then that Cap & Ball is supposed to be on your NY State Firearms License. Take away any one of those three important must-haves and you can no longer fire the gun so it becomes a curio or wall-hanger.

It's not being a Wise-Ass, it's merely the way the Law is written.
