Got this last year in December. Bought it by mistake thinking it was 36 cal. Still has the packaging oil on it. Kept thinking a 36 would show up or having a pair was cool. Decided I don't need a pair. And guessing a 36 is kinda rare. I know they were made because I've seen em a few years ago.
Anyhow, I'm asking $385 for it. That's with shipping included.

I figured a 44 would have a rebated cylinder.
The Dance didn’t have a rebated cylinder on the 44 and a Colt 1860 will not fit. It will go in but it’s too long. They will work if the barrel is filed down. But the original cylinder will never work on it again.

I just figured that Pietta would make it with same frame and cylinder as the army for cost purposes. Looks better the way they did make it though.

Ditto what TreeMan said.

I picked one up a few years ago. It was a little rough but after some cleaning and deburring, it's an excellent shooter. $385 shipped is a good price IMHO.

Well since EMF has these cheaper than what I paid. I am withdrawing this post.
Thanks Smokey for bringing this to my attention.
