Ha! I played at Fort Nisqually when I was a kid in Fircrest. Just did the math and that was 60 years ago ... 😬
The finest collection of Northwest Trade Guns I have seen was at the Museum of the Fur Trade near Chadron, Nebraska.
Have to agree, although the Hudson's Bay museums in Ottawa and Kingston have good collections also. Chandron is easier to access these days.
