NMLRA member...basically for the magazine, and the "good stuff"...things that are really interesting to me, only come every two or three months. I go to Friendship because it is about 4 1/2 hrs away, and it is a good shopping trip. I am not a competitive shooter, so couldn't care less about the range.

I am not an NRA member. I haven't been in many, many years. If I hear some NRA representative publicly saying "we need to enforce the gun laws we already have" one more time, I'm gonna puke.

I do agree with you and everyone else on the fact that we all should be members of the NRA.
I let my membership go during the last election because I was sickened that the NRA could send me my American rifleman mag and tote Bush as a conservationists and a defender of sportsman. George Bush has done more to strip away our hunting lands than any other Pres before him.
I wrote the NRA explaining why I wasn't rejoining. If they had said you should vote for this person or that person because they are pro gun rights and left it at that I wouldn't have had problem. But they had to totally :bull: hunters into thinking our current administration actually gives a rats behind about or planet, hunting right and hunting grounds.
Twice now the Bush administration has tried to sell off public land to the highest bidder for development of gas,oil and timber exploitation and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
That's why I didnt renew my membership.
I currently am a member and plan on staying one.
Yes I do vote(mostly libertarian) and I do stay current on politics.
I don't like to be lied to end of story.

I think I'll run this asa topic but I wrote the Prez of the NMLRA back in 2003 when I let it go and he hand wrote back he couldnt argue with what I said because he was leaveing. While I have droped out I got a bunch of problems with the Long Hunter, In.. :cursing:'s BUT the Prez now knows hes got a big problem he's tryed to talk away these in MB but now he wants you to call even if you left yrs ago he said the best way is call him 703 644 9793. call and let him know. Good Morning,

In the the next Presidental Election, everybody that dislikes our current President will have the opportunity to vote for a gun hating liberal to go along with a gunowner hating controlled Senate and House of Representatives and tell the NRA and NMLRA to "Go to Hell". OR, just do not even vote and still tell the NRA and NMLRA to "Go to Hell".

In this country, everybody still has a right to vote their choice OR not vote, thereby losing rights by default.

Afteral, EVERYBODY knows one individual stand or one vote has NEVER made a differnce.
