Took a short hunt up a canyon for Grouse last Sun. did not see any birds but could not resist taking a shot of this water fall, typical of the hundreds of small streams in the Pacific N.W. shrouded in Alders, Doug Fir, Cedar, Ferns and a dozen or more other temperate rain forest Flora

Nice place to be. Kinda makes me home sick for the Ozarks. TG, are you a professional photographer? That is a prize winner right there.

Beautiful, reminds me of many of my hiking trails in the Blue Ridge and Smokies...and SE Alaska...alas I live in the flatlands now!

"TG, are you a professional photographer?'

No not at all,I was into 35MM pretty deep 30 years ago but now just carry one of those no brain digitals, if you snap enough shots something will catch your eye and be a keeper.

Places like that make me so sleepy I could snooze on those rocks.AHH,The sound of the running water and the cool breeze.........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Yeah we were camped ( wife and three Dachshunds modern tent, may write a book about that someday "Camping with Dachshunds" what a trip) about a hundred yards below the falls and could hear it all night, I hope to get a good spell of weather in mid Nov. and hike a mile or so up the same canyon to some small beaver meadows I used to trap and try for a deer, hopefull spend the night with a couple of tarps if the winter storms aren't churning things up to badly. Thanks for the compliments on the pic, glad you enjoyed it as much as I did when it came on screen.
