My Dennis Miles Buffalo knife did a good job dressing this rabbit, in fact it was easier and quicker than with a smaller blade. :hmm:

Can't beat fresh rabbit taken with a good gun and cleaned with a new knife. Might have to scout around for some bunnies near the house myself ain't had fried rabbit in a few years.

I lived with my grandparents back in the 50's in southern Illinois. One of my favorite suppers was fried rabbit, sliced potatoes fried to a "hard brown", greenbeans with those little new potatoes with bisquits and rabbit gravy.

Nice job.

Ya Joe, now you're a man that knows good grub. To get them taters "hard brown" I slice raw fries into a hot skillet, keep turnin em and cook em brown but a little firm. Goes good with either rabbit or squirrel.

Nothin beats fresh green beans, canned corn is my second choice,

Hmmm, think I'll go huntin again tomorrow. :winking:
