Hey gang, first of all let me thank you for allowing me to join this foruI and absorb your infinite knowledge! I was a medic for 20 years in the third largest city in Missouri and 2 years ago became disabled and subsequently retired for 2 new knee joints and PTSD. I just acquired a CVA Wolf and Mountain Stalker in a 50 caliber. I'm getting ready to acquire a Pietta and Navy Arms pistols both in 44 caliber. Hoping to glean some information here and eventually be able to advise other “noobs” like myself.

Hey welcome. Every "expert" was once a beginner.

So you will also want to check out our sister site for information on your Wolf and modern projectiles. Modern Muzzleloader Muzzleloading Forum

I just got a Mountain Stalker myself in .50. Looking forward to trying it out.

Happy New Year
