Hello, I am new here and aquired my dad's old shotgun. It is in terrible shape and I do not intend on restoring it to shooting condition. It is a Norris & Brother double barrel percussion shotgun in what appears to be 20 guage. On the barrel's sight rib is the inscription "Warrented Trust" or "Warrented Twist". The information I have so far is the Norris & Brother was in operation 1840-1864. During the Civil War some units cut the barrels down for close quarters battle. The 1st Florida Calvary was one unit that used shotguns. I hope someone could expand on this information. Thank you for any information that comes up. I am trying to clean it up for use as a nice wall hanger.
