Is anyone happily married???
I sure am. When we were going to get married, I told her "Look honey, I don't drink, I don't gamble, I don't race cars, but I love guns and hunting. When I die, you will have a nice collection of fine guns that you can sell for good money. That is a lot better than having a drawer full of worthless bar receipts. If that is acceptable to you, lets get married." It worked. Still happily married to the same beautiful blonde for almost 55 years.

I'm happily married for 48yrs. I always worked was a full time job, as did she. I also OWNED a gun shop and Did 23 gunshows a year. that money was SEPARATE FROM FAMILY MONEY. G.S. Money BUILT a NEW HOUSE. as well As a DUPLEX RENTAL. She handles all the finances and bills. I handle the RENTAL INCOME and INVESTMENTS ..She does't say Squat about the trades or purchases I make....I actually show her my newly AQUIRED peices.....WE have worked Fine Like this for 48yrs...The trick is I DON'T USE FAMILY MONEY... My PROBLEM is keeping her up on VALUES....THEY HAVE CHANGED FAST. Be Safe >>>>>Wally

Is anyone happily married???
I was for 54 years until 3 months ago. She 's now waiting for me on the other side for our next hunt together. Elk, deer , bear (her black male squared 6-1/2 feet) and birds were a joy for her. If you have a wife that enjoys guns and hunting, you are the luckiest guy in the world. I'll never find another like her and at 76 I'm not likely to try. Appreciate what you have, an empty house is a lonely place.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. And I can understand for sure. It would be very difficult for me if I lost my wife. She is my bestest good friend.

Hoping the best for you.

My wife talks a lot. We got stopped by the state police and the cop said "you have a taillight out". The wife said "I told him to fix it". Then the cop said "your license has expired". Sure enough the wife said " I told him about that". So I popped her across the mouth and said "shut up"' The cop said "does he do that often". The wife said "only when he is drinking".
