Number of firearms

When we used to attend Friendship regularly we brought several as the whole family shot. By myself, it depends on the club and event. I might have a target perc. rifle, a flint rifle for offhand matches and a smoothie flinter for the primitive events.

I bring one percussion gun, one flintlock, one smoothbore, and my pistol. Plus the longbow. That way I can compete in all the different classes. Then if they have novelty shoots, I chose the gun to use, usually the 54 cal since most novelty events a larger ball helps.

How many firearms do you take to rondy or black powder shoots?

Two, one rifle ; one smoothbore,..., unless I'm going to try and sell one. IF I was into pistols..., three

For a rondy I take one rifle, one smooth bore , and one pistol. For a one day shoot I usually just take one rifle.
