That would be all well and good if they would stay on their side of that line, and keep their litter there too.

Worst thing to come from Covid locally is a huge influx of Yorkers, litter, especially along streams has roughly doubled, was almost triple that 1st summer. Just anecdotal and I know correlation doesn't equal causation, but "perception is reality."

Here's a follow up for all of you who might be interested....

New York will host the New England Flintlock Championships in 2024. Proposed dates are July 19-20, 2024 and the site will be the Old Saratoga Muzzleloading Club range. See below. Camping sites available on-site starting on the 19th. Stay tuned for details.

OSMLC is located in historic Saratoga County, New York, 4 miles from the Saratoga National Historic Battlefield. OSMLC is located on the same road (Duell Road) as the Gerald B. Solomon National Cemetery in Quaker Springs, New York.

We have a 400' covered firing range, a campground with electrical hookups, a clubhouse with indoor bathrooms, a cookshack, and showers. OSMLC has also hosted the NY NMLRA Territorial Matches for over 25 years.

The New York Team is looking for flint shooters wishing to join our ranks. Contact me by PM for details. There are no try-outs or qualification shoots. All flint shooters who wish to join us are welcome to contact me.

Gee, late to the party, but as a NYer (Hey!!! Upstate NY, not downstate!) I was real happy to see this post. I will have to keep my open for next year, and if able reach out to the team. I am relatively new to flinters, but what the hey?

By the looks of these gents, they ain't from NYC. I've been through several places in New York. Actually fine people, but NYC:doh: I stopped at one place, forget where, had a couple of brews, talked to a few people. They laughed at my southern accent, I chuckled at theirs. We had a few more brews! Small town people are the best!
