I got a small priming horn at the last rondy i whent to. Ive never seen one like this before.it has a valve on it with a push lever with a gate un like the push valve on most priming horns or flasks. Would like to find some info on it like how common that style valve is and how old. Thanks rawhide

I just pull up the image in Photobucket, and to the right will be a window with the URL. Highlight that and copy it, then go to this site and paste it here. Slightly different in what others say...I think. It works fine.

Is it the type that has a lever that you press downward opening the gate at the open end of the horn? I'm not sure how far back they go , but I like the design . Photobucket can be a pain just keep trying you'll get it.👌

Yes like that. Realy neet little horn only found 3 pics of this style valve.so i dont know how rare it is or old. Having some one how knows how to use photobucket post pics for me hope to have them up soon rawhide

If memory serves me correctly the horn I saw had the spout portion made into a band that slide down over the tip of the horn. The slide portion went down into a slit cut 1/2" or so back from the tip end . When the lever was pressed downward the gate raised to let the powder flow out. Similar but not like in the pictures.
