I have a 20 ga Tulle fusil de Chasse i purchased awhile ago with browned iron barrel and furniture. Is there any way I can safely remove the browning to create a more PC weapon?

PC?

Anyway, if it's browning from rust I'd think a good rust removing solution would work. Personally I like rust browning. If it's original, you might be losing the value of your weapon by removing the finish.

Naval jelly pits the surface somewhat- that could be good or bad depending on your preference. If you want a clean bright finish then you may have to use abrasives, starting with 320 wet or dry paper, wet, and going to 400 or even 600 depending on what you desire. You could test any of these methods on the underside of the barrel first.
