The gun has not been tested. The lock sets properly and the trigger operates. Not sure if the spring has enough pressure
when pulling the trigger.

Not interested in any trades.
I don’t know what a fair price would be so I am looking for offers
plus shipping cost
Thanks

Sounds like my research was not accurate! Sorry for the mistake
I had no intentions of deceiving anyone.
If anyone could help with any information regarding the rifle it would be appreciated. Possibly the manufacturer, when and where it was made. I thought it was a low cost Belgium musket that was used in central Africa

As for the caliber, that's a 16 bore. I remember Stoeger's Shooter's Bible carrying several sorts of Belgian trade muskets for sale in the 1960s-70s. They would likely have had such a marking stamped on the barrel, but I've not seen one in person. (I used to drool over the 4 bore flintlock!)

I have one of the same gun that was sold in the 1960's by STOGER ARMS in NY. I shoot it all the time. yes they were made and shipped to the AFRICAN trade, to use for hunting because with them they could not rebel and upraise against the government. that is the story that was told about them, urban legend? they were also made in flintlocks. hope this info. helps?
