:applause:With the thread on Jeremiah Johnson Movie (Robert Redford), we seem to have started a "List of Movies" that like mentalities enjoy. I've added a few. If you have any not listed here, but think others will enjoy, a made for TV, Hallmark, History Channel, Movies etc, (either a documentary or Hollywood) then add to the list. I hope we're all not afraid to show our age.

Those are all good movies.One more to add would be Ride with the Devil which is about the War between the States in the Missouri and Kansas border area. :grey:

There was one in the 60s that was called "The Trap" starring Oliver Reed, now it was a loooong time ago and I was a kid but I remember it as pretty good. Wouldn't mind seeing it again to compare my recolections to the real thing. YMHS Birdman

"Across The Wide Missouri", Clark Gable, 1951. Great scenery, and the scene where Gable has to get a fast shot off in his ML, a life or death situation. Fantastic!

Members of my group, The Rangers of the ohio Co. and our First VA Malitia unit, Participated in the making of the documentary, "When the Forest Ran Red." It is a Paladin Communications film. If anyone would like a copy, you can contact www.paladincom.com or www.pghhistory.org . Other than that, I don't know where you can get a copy of it.
This documentary won 5 magor awards and was broadcast across the US and Canada. :applause:
Another CW series on TV- The Gray Ghost. :grey:
Another Disney series- The Swamp Fox- Francis Marion :thumbsup:
And another early Duke film- Allegheny Uprising. This is a film that was shown off site at the third through sixth GNAR events. Oh the Memories!
