Overshot cards useless? Overpowder wads useless?

I make my shot cartridges by rolling the newspaper around a 650 dowel rod ( a 5/8 will work ) three thicknesses , tie off the end with kite string,leaving the string long, fill with shot, twist, fold over and tie shut. I load them with the tied end out. I also make powder cartridges simular only I use a heavy wax paper instead of newsprint. and open the powder cartridge and pour the powder down. When I use the wax powder cartridges I just run the wax paper down before the wads. :idunno: P.S. I shipped your order today .

I make my card wads from poster board.They are about .050" thick. I use two over the powder and one over the shot just as Mr Starr recomends. I use a felt wad between the two over powder cards for lube because I just feel thats better (safer) than spiting down the barrel as he did.
Thats what works for me.
