Can one of you fellows or ladies explain to me how to get a Pay Pal account and card. I want to be able to purchase things from this site and others.

It has been a long time since I’ve done this but first you need to create an online Paypal account. I think from there you apply for the credit card account. Paypal credit is handled through a bank. I think the name is like Syncrony or something like that. It does make it convenient for some purchases. Good luck.

Thank you sir!

You don’t need to have a credit card with PayPal. Just go to PayPal.com, sign up for an account, and give them your credit card number or bank account info and any payment is simply deducted by PayPal from your bank account or CC when you make a purchase. If you’re concerned about cyber security open a second account with your bank just for PayPal. You can get on your bank app, transfer money to the secondary account and then get on PayPal and pay for your item. Pretty simple. Once you have a PayPal account you can click a little ‘apply for a PayPal card’ button and you can use that if you want.

FYI Hawk, you don’t have to get the credit account if you don’t want to (it’s optional). You can link everything to a checking account.

Now this sounds a lot better. I ruined my credit with doctor bills after my injury. I could't buy a piece of gum with a 570 credit score. A friend told me to go to my bank and apply for a prepaid credit card to help rebuild my credit. I will put $400 into it, use it every month, and pay it off every month. Later down the road, hopefully, they will increase my credit limit.
But, I'm definitely fixing to go to Pal Pal .com and sign up for an account. Thanks again Mr. Bob! Your welcome to come hunting with me and dad anytime friend! We will even put you up and feed you.

It has been many years back now, but go to PAYPAL website and create an account.
You can link a bank account or a currently held card to your account for payments.
There are also a couple of options for withdrawing funds from Paypal that people send you.
I opened a second checking account and use a separate debit card for on-line stuff, and did not link it to any other account for "overdraft" protection. That will get you in hot water especially if that card ever gets hacked..... And I only keep a hundred dollars in it so I can't get hurt too bad if my data gets hacked or leaked. If I am making a bigger purchase - I will transfer money into that account right before paying so the account balance is only high when I need it to be.
