thats exactly what I was describing severasl posts back!
Great pictures, Thanks!

Real nice, I like both of them but for different reasons. I have never seen one of the one's made from a knife handle. Had a good idea of what it would look like but gald too see the pic. The antler one I just love anything like that made from antlers!

That's what I wanted to see from Brett Sr's post awhile back!....These look good!

Question?...What is the small piece of leather for on the knife between the knife body and Treso valve?

Horner 75 I put a small piece of leather between the valve and the knife handel to cover the epoxy that was showing in the end of the handle. Jest for looks I guess. Would something work better? Thanks for any ideas. Teton

A couple post down the index I made an elk antler one the same but I like your carved tie in at the end...gave me a good idea to mine to finish off.

And after seeing the kitchen knife handle pics that all make sense now thanks!

Ted,
For the leather around the nozzle, make it look functional. Like having a strap or loop and that's just where it's connected to the primer.

Are those knife handles solid or hollow, and are they steel. If so couldn`t they be welded and drilled and tapped for the powder dispenser.

PitchyPine The handles are hollow. The blades are sodered in. You can get them most likeley at a antique store or mall. I payed $1.00 a knife. Put in the oven with the heat at 400 for few min. I put a piece of tinfoil under the knifes to catch the sodder.(wifes idea) :v Dont know why you couldn't sodder in the valve.Teton

you could solder the valves in.
some blades are soldered in, some I have been emptying seem to be set in an epoxy or grout like substance.
on those, I ran a concrete bit into and then scraped out with a terrible screw driver that I put a bend into to reach the curves, worked well.

I found a bunch of knives at goodwill for 19 cents each, some real old ones too! if you go, keep an eye open for the old high carbon kitchen knives...make great reworkable blades.
