We were as surprised to hear about Panther, here at Midwesttent. We have been aware of the high overhead costs they have at Panther, as doing custom tents can be very expensive. We make limited styles to keep the quantities up, or we would be hurting now also. Right now we make a lot of Pyramid tents and flies, but we make them in batches to keep the costs down. The only changes we will be making here, is we will be producing mostly white and a lot less of the colored canvas tents. Our canvas costs have gone up, but not by a lot, so we will try to keep the prices down. If you can think of a style and size of tent you would like us to make here, please let us know and we will try to work that into our runs. We value your input, and will try to keep from retiring any time soon! The only part of our operations that are shut down right now is our woodworking areas for poles, as we just can't seem to make any money in that area due to labor costs. We will try to make up for Panther going away by increasing batch sizes. We wish everyone at Panther the best and hope tomorrow is brighter for all.

Good to see someone stepping up to help fill the need.
Just wondering out loud here if there was a way you could incorporate the PP line and name? Could be a boon for both operations, one ending and the other expanding?
Best wishes,
Bob
