As I mentioned earlier, look at Powder Inc. for cylinder loaders, they make life much easier.

Loading off the pistol with a loading stand saves a lot of wear and tear on moveable parts of the pistol.

I have a ROA 36 and it does not come with a loading lever.

In it's first life it was an ROA stainless.

Second life is after Bill Haygerman took the cylinder and sleeved it to .36. It shoots a .360 ball. The rear top frame was cut and milled to accept a new taller rear sight which has larger adjustment knobs. Barrel and front sight which is taller, are blued and are one integral piece.

I heard that the barrel is a Shilen. Internals were reworked and polished. Trigger pull is clean at 1.5 lbs.

It does not have a loading lever, thus a loading stand is required.

It is one accurate pistol.

With a stainless frame and a blued barrel, it makes an attractive pistol.

Got to see the ROA. It is stainless and the loading rod pin ( I think that is what it is called) is indeed broken. The rest of everything is in good shape. So far I have found a new pin on Flebay but it is blue and not stainless. I have called the businesses that were recommended but no luck. Thinking this gun is going to have to have a blues pin so I can get it back up and running. Anyone else have a suggestion who to check with for a stainless loading ram assembly pin? Greg
Might try belt Mountain base pins to see if they make one for the ROA.

Well here is the ROA all back together with the new base pin installed. Going to cherish this one. Greg
