By any chance will we see this new rifle at the next shoot this week end?

Being the humidity is so low now the browning process is going real slow. Maybe the Dec shoot I’ll have it sighted in and going.

Finished this up a week or so ago. It has lots of interchangeable site options.

We'll have to bring our new guns out to the next shoot for show and tell. Nicely done.

Went and sighted it in yesterday at about 40 yards. Still need to experiment on what it likes best but its real close and I want to put a hundred or two rounds through it before I get serious on smaller groups.

Target in the left illustration sure looks like a winner.

I rebuilt an original 1861 Bridesberg rifled musket a while back. It was missing most of the foregrip. Inletting that tapered barrel was one of the most intense things I've ever done. I also had to make two critical cuts on the original stock to affect required repairs. Take a breath and step away from the project when the tension gets too high. Patience is your friend. Looks good so far.
