For your consideration, Patch knife, OAL 8 1/2 inches, Blade 4 1/2 inches 1084 HC steel. Elk antler brow tine handle with lots of character. Poured pewter bolster, copper pins. Tastefully antiqued with a nicely fitted center seam sheath. A very nice, one of a kind piece priced at 175. to your door.

I am a bladesmith and I have to tell you that for $175.00, that's a great price for such workmanship. Very nice indeed.

Aw, nutz! I'm too late! I remember as a kid we had a four inch round whetstone from Herters, and when we deemed our knives sharp enuf we would lick the hair on top of our arms and see if our knives would shave our arms! So funny to read what Tallpine wrote!
