Well it never happens to me but today it did. Went into a local pawn shop to buy a jack and when I looked over the handgun rack I saw a C&B laying there, so I inquired. It turned out to be a Pietta 1851 Navy brass in .44, the ubiquitous nowadays. Upon inspection, it was tight and had some finish issues, bore the usual but not bad, good cones, mostly needs a good scrubbing. How much? $99.99 of course. I was already putting it on layaway when the clerk's coworker appeared from the back of the store and said 'that gun has some accessories that go with it'. Cool. He comes back with a full flap confederate closed bottom brown leather holster embossed 'CSA' with a mismatched black leather belt and a lead filled brass CSA buckle! Well now. The deal just got a whole lot better. We'll have to see how the gun turns out after I clean and polish it. Wonders will never cease. Geo.

Very cool. Cute pup btw.
Hi, Smokey, Thanks, the pup now lives with a good family and is grown, His full blood Australian shepherd mom lives with us here, but belongs to my adult daughter Melanie. Dixie has fantastic colors. She has been spayed so no more pups. I've seldom seen a smarter dog. She wants to herd everything, people, cats, neighbor's kids, etc.

Congrats on a nice find. Deals like that are rare but can happen and are especially sweet. I got a Ruger Old Army that way. I smiled all the way home.
