Picked up a Renegade a couple weeks back at a little out of the way pawnshop. Finally shot it yesterday. Did not adjust the sights. FBC

I'm a little surprised good deals on Renegades are still out there considering their popularity. You did well getting a nice one and from a pawn shop at that!
$250 out the door . Bought a slick Cherokee.45 for $300 at another pawnshop. Went back a few weeks later and they had another Cherokee for $275 but not quite as good condition. I bought both.

I bought a .56 smoothbore Renegade for $100 but the barrel bore was toast. Got a TC 1-66 barrel, but the new barrel was 15/16 inch whereas the old barrel was one inch. so it left 1/32 space on each side of new barrel when installed in stock. Everything else lined up perfectly. I glass bedded the barrel in the channel, now the gap is not noticeable unless you know it's there. Good shooter.
