I'm not trying to put people off I just think the OP should be clear. I think they're beautiful rifles and I own one.

Pedersoli make two jagers, the hunter which has a 28" barrel, no chequering on the grip, a bladed front sight and a 1:24 twist barrel suited for bullets. I.e. this one.

I have the target which has a 32" barrel, chequering on the grip, a winged front sight, a diopter and a 1:65" twist barrel for round ball.

Historical jagers have deep rifling, but neither of these options have deep rifling as per Pedersoli's way.

Perhaps those that have interests in purchasing “This rifle”, can do their own research. No need to clutter this “For Sale” add with opinion or fact.

Appreciate the enthusiasm. Yet a thread of Topic regarding “Prb/Bullet Pedersoli Jaeger”would be a more appropriate place to discuss it.

A simple short comment is fine. However ,let’s leave discussion for another location.

Or atleast till item is sold 😉

Thank you.

I would call that dishonesty.

I value and always the rules of this forum and I'm not trying to create discussion. I would just hate to see someone buy this rifle thinking they're going to run a hunting load for PRB only to find out it won't work.
Please leave my For sale add. No need to bring Animosity here.

I informed in my add the Accuracy I obtain with the Projectile and powder combination I use. That’s more info than most add’s provide.

If you feel “Dishonesty” has transpired, I feel you are in no way assisting my For sale add.

Other members have spoken highly of my transactions.

I’m not responsible for what others can assume. Plus the rifle shoots either Prb or Bullet with accuracy. As other members have mentioned.

Once again, Please leave this add.

Seems like first hand knowledge.

Discussion over. Thank you Jaegermeister.

Appreciate the short direct simple comment.

He stated earlier that this rifle was shooting real bullets, others that had a similar rifle said round balls shot accurately. Nothing dishonest about this post. Please read the rules about commenting on sales ads, #21 Unless you are interested in buying the item or asking specific questions about it, comments about the offering critiquing it are not proper and will be deleted.

Thanks

I would also like to add that I know this rifle has a 1:24 twist rate and I intend to run RBs and bullets. 1:24 is actually a correct twist rate for a jaeger, and I intend to find a load which works well with RBs.

Honestly,
I’m sure since it’s been done before by other members… there should be no problem obtaining accuracy with either Prb or Bullet.
Regardless of some opinion.
👍
