I just talked to I.F.G. and it will be end of the year at least before they are available stateside. People have been putting down deposits though. I asked about the 2 different versions and yes he did confirm that he had heard 2 different versions will be available. Hopefully the lesser version will be without all that nasty checkering. Was looking at the Dixie Gun Works site yesterday and saw they have finally listed the Double Flintlock. It appears to be the deluxe model with the ghastly basket weave checkering. It is listed as Out of Stock. Price was $1750.00. I hope they have the basic model available soon.That basket weave checkering kills it for me :td:

Access (Military) Heritage in Canada sells an attractive double flinter for +/- 1/3 the cost of a Pedersoli......
vents would have to be drilled, but this looks like a "tinkerers dream"........
