Pedersoli Indian Musket?

While we are talking Indian trade gun by Pedersoli I dumped about 70g of powder. Then a 1/8 card soaked in olive oil.
Then placed a large patch, greased with beeswax and olive oil on the muzzle.
For dumb legal reasons I then thumbed five .36" balls into the patch and did not care a jot for their looseness. Finished off with an over shot card shot this group at thirty yards.

That is excellent for 30 yards mr B. Would be pretty useful if the need arised. I hope my pedersoli indian trade gun preform's in similar style when i get to shooting it.

I see you are a fellow owner of the excellent book " The Age Of Firearms".
Got one when I was about 15 years old around 1972 or something. Still have it, and found a spare at a gun show 12 years ago. Anyone that has an historical interest in the development and perfection of black powder firearms and the cultural changes they represented and caused should have one.
The information on late Mideival (sp?) through the 19th century mores and superstitions is worth the price of the book alone.
Would have liked to have met or corresponded with the author Robert Held and his wife and thanked them for the many hours of pleasure that book has given me over the last 45+'years. I was unable to determine when he died ( presumably ).
The drawings his wife made were outstanding.
