The question is really, what are your expectations and uses for the gun, and yourself with it?

Are you going to use it hard and stomp through the bushes by yourself with it? Then nobody cares what it looks like except you. If it gets beat up, that's ok, because you're expecting that to happen eventually. Function is the only thing that is important in that case. You can get along with less

Are you going to use it as your learning gun about flinters? Then mild styling is important, but function is foremost. then this is pretty much a good bet here. It's different enough from the CVA Traditions to be interesting, but not so fancy that it couldn't get knocked around and be replaced.

Is it to fill a "hole" in the gun rack, but still function and look pretty much ok, like a representative example of the gun / style? It's sort of ok here, but not really great. In this price range (~$600) there are better things out there on the used market if you are willing to be patient.

Are you going to try and "wow" your friends with it's styling and looks? This gun will work for that, and someone that doesn't know much about them, but will not cut the mustard with the HC/PC crowd, as it's not really representative of any one school or style. In that, it's something of a mutt. Part of everything.

Are you going to use it to try and win shooting contests? Unless you're already a great shot, you can do better.

Are you going to use it to try and "fit in" at rondys with the old timers that chase down their own sheep to make their own clothing? Don't think this will get you there. Save your money until you can get a custom gun, or build one yourself.
