Hello, I've not been a member on this forum very long but I am impressed with the knowledge and resources that many of you have, so this may not be too hard for you guys but I can't find this information anywhere on the internet. I'm looking for information but especially pictures of several James Rice rifles. I found a reference to him in another forum from an older post that states there is a great, early looking Tennessee rifle by James Rice shown in Jerry Noble's "Notes on Southern Longrifles Volume 2" (page 118 I think), referred to as the "Fitzgerald Gun", or pictured in John Rice Irwin's book "Guns and Gunmaking Tools of Southern Appalachia". Some of their rifles apparently were signed "W.R." by James' brother William and his son also named William.
I have found and ordered the book from Irwin (its the second edition though), but the book by Noble is 180$ so I won't be getting that book. I find this so extremely interesting and apparently these rifles are beautiful. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I had been able to find a few of the Longrifle books in the reference section of a couple local libraries, you may try that if convenient for you.
