Great! Thx. I'm still trying to figure out what lube recipe I want to use. Just received some pure lanolin to try with the beeswax. I assume the your lube wad is over powder. May I ask what material and what thickness?
Bulk felt material bought from Durofelt in Little Rock, AR.
About 1/8” thick. Punch them out myself.
Note: Contrary to popular belief, the width across on the wads do not matter. .36 caliber wads work fine in .44. Cut .44’s in half for .36 if you run out of .36’s if you need to.
You can cut your wads into squares or even triangles-it matters not.
The wads are not a gas seal. They are only for holding lubricant without without making a mess.
