Tomorrow Traditions will have the 1851 for 10 business days.
Called them today, and they have not even looked at it yet.

I heard all these good things about Traditions Customer Service and me personally, I have not found that to be the case.
That is why I have never used them. Blessed to have good medical, but I do pay for it. Dad used the VA late in life. I got in the system, but don’t trust or use them. POTUS kicked a lot of deep state bad apples to the curb, about 500 total. Still need for improvement from what I read and hear from my buddies that use them. You think customer service is bad at Traditions, you ought to have to deal with the VA (veteran's admin). I have had a claim in since Jan. 29th and just heard from 'em today that they had received it.
No, I wouldn't.
Considering that they provided you with such prompt service before, it ends up working out to an average wait time.
They probably only have one repair technician working on guns while doing other warehouse duties too.
Just be patient and shoot another gun until they finish it up.
But maybe inquire about it again soon.
It would appear that the 1851 is headed back home to me.
According to the UPS email notification, I should have it back by the 11th.
4+ weeks really is not all that bad in my opinion.
That's fair to middling, they could have done better or much worse.
But at least we've had a good time waiting for it together!
Let's hope that when it's received that it's all fixed and looks as good as new.
I'd hate to see anyone need to send it back because it wasn't fixed right the first time.
