Soaked out a piece of salt pork a salted slab of meat,not the salty fat sold in stores,ground a piece of ships bread to crumbs, added some pepper and fried in a little lard,served with mustard. Was it an HC meal? Can't say I have seen it as a reciepe but it made a tasty brecfast. Had real coffee with it not toasted hard tack crumb tea :wink:
