Have made a few possibles bags but never really liked the finish. Decided to try something, a while back had made some bore lube out of bees wax and olive oil. After I dyed the leather put about 3 coats of this on the leather. Worked great. Waterproofed and gave the leather a soft satin sheem. Might want to try it. :thumbsup:
 
I ran out of pure neatsfoot oil and did the same thing. It works just as well, softening the leather and giving a nice sheen to the finised product.
