Here are some pic's of the round ball pouch I put together to take out to the range, they hold about 50 RB and will feed one RB at a time. The wooded plug is just snug enuff to prevent spillage when to pouch is droped. this was a one project.

Nice WC Gramps,

Real nice craftsmanship!!!

I've made a few myself the ones I made might hold 30 or so. But I'd rather just put 20 or 25 in it That'll take care of all the shootin' I need to do.

Nice work, I like the tooled sizes you stamped on the leather for quick reference...

It would take half a cow to make one of those for my .75 caliber... :winking:

Good job Gramps, just like mine. Musketman the upper left one is for the .75. Have one for each caliber that I use. Hangs from the belt and just tipping it drops one in your hand.

DEADEYE; I like the one's you made better then mine :applause:, about how long are they? :: now I'll have to go get some more leather and try again.

They're about 5 to maybe 7" for the larger ones. I hang mine on the left side cause my shooting pouch is on the right and I make a patch pouch that is just to the right of my belt buckle and get the patch with my right hand and the bullet with my left hand. Did you put sand in yours to stretch them out?

no I did'nt deadeye, I made a wooden mold in the shape I wanted, put the leather in water for about 90 sec. then formed it in the mold, clamped it down and let dry, when dry the leather holds the shape.

If you want to try it with the sand, sew it wet then take a dowel that fits the bore and push it inside then put in a little sand and push it in and repeat until you have a nice round pocket inside. Let it dry, dump out the sand, put in a ball and shake it around so the ball dislodges any sand particles sticking to the leather.

Deadeye: never used sand before but I'm going to give it a try, sounds much easier then making a wooden mold.
Thanks for the tip.
