Nothing wrong with KIK Black powder. And it is a bit cheaper. I have been using it for a couple years.

Larry, I have heard good things about KIK. I'm kind of a Goex/Olde Eynsford user because I only live 10 minutes from a Goex master distributer, J&J Pyrotechnics in Moscow, PA. I just looked in my email file and, at the time of my last order (over a year ago), my pick-up price was 13.10 for Goex and 13.50 for Olde Eynsford (shipped price was 12.25 for Goex, 13.35 for OE). It is the shipping and Hazmat fees on top that kill you.

By the way, I never read any comments in the forum from people ordering from J&J, but I will say they were great to deal with and prices were very competitive with anything I have read about on the forum. They're listed on the Goex website list of Master Distributers.

Smokey, I've shot Swiss, Elephant, Schutzen, one or two others most recently Old Eynsford. I haven't shot Kik or Battle.

Now I just buy Goex. You may need to shoot them all to ease your mind but remember you'll need to do load work up with each. Just reducing your charge 10% or whatever to get the same velocity doesn't guarantee that is the most accurate load with that powder.
