Bought this for $30 at the Spring shoot this week. My first powder horn. Basic but fills my need to own one.

Did not know that. I will drive up to Log Cabin in July to see if they have any straps.

You could finger weave your own, go to a fabric shop and pick up some nice strips of fabric, hobby lobby for some leather string, attach your own work.

A lot of the fun of this game is making some of your own gear. Making your own makes it that much more special as your frst one.

I really like your new horn. As others have observed, it needs a nice strap to hang around your neck. You may need a nice woven strap to replace the pillow ticking and wide leather wrap. Your strap will work, just needs a bit of improvement.
